Aloha and welcome!
In 1980, the Reverend Elpidio Pangilinan was sent from the Philippines to scout the island of Oʻahu for the possibility of establishing a mission there. With the help of the International Association of Bible Fellowship Centers, he and his family started the work of the Honolulu Bible Fellowship in 1981. With the coming of the Reverend Bing Balmores and his family to Hawaiʻi soon after, the group's work was expanded further, with the Rev. and Mrs. Pangilinan establishing a congregation on the island of Maui.
Today, the Honolulu Bible Fellowship calls Salt Lake its home. Located on the grounds of the First Southern Baptist Church of Pearl Harbor, the HBF is here to serve its community and to serve God.
